In the year 2000,
the Student Chapter of the American Society of Civil Engineers at
Iowa State University placed third in the Midwestern Concrete
Canoe Competition! Their award-winning canoe, "CYKOTIC",
was constructed with the use of FUSION-CRETE®
II CRYSTALS, as were their previous canoes in 1998 and 1999.
One of these photographs shows the team with their canoe. The second
photograph shows the team with some of its members proudly displaying
the winning awards plaques. |

at Iowa State University with the concrete canoe, "Stingray", which
they designed and constructed with the use of FUSION-CRETE® II CRYSTALS,
the powdered form of our vinyl/copolymer concrete-adhesive/enhancer.
FUSION-CRETE ®, INC. has donated this material annually to these college
engineering students to enable them to design and construct strong,
lightweight waterproof canoes for the annual collegiate concrete-canoe
competition held in Ames, Iowa and other collegiate venues. |
